Underwater adventure

Before the underwater adventure here are some petroglyphs carved onto rock faces by the ancient natives of Hawaii that i forgot to post a couple weeks ago when i took them. And a rainbow.

Another day off and another snorkeling trip. this time i wasn't so lucky as to tag along with a participant who rented a car. Instead i ended up walking 3miles each way plus a bus ride to reach a new snorkeling area. I was really worried when we first got there, because again it was an unusually windy day and so i thought the visibility was going to be awful. It wasn't great, a little to murky for good photos, but it was good enough to take pictures of turtles. So here is my first foray into the world of underwater photography. Like i said the visibility was pretty poor so the color is not great and the photos are kinda dark, but here are they best of them. Oh and i also have a few really good videos of the turtle, it's a juvenile green turtle, that was feeding along the reef.

These are great pictures. Not too dark or murky to see the colors very well. Was this an adult or immature turtle?

You are a lucky man, my friend. The closest we have to wildlife back here at 'deis are squrrels and frat kids...

PPS: It's been 15 degrees here for weeks and I hate you.
